Here we have an old pine ladies dressing room unit, fairly similar to a Chiffonier, dating from c.1910. It has a base consisting of a two door cupboard (with a single shelf inside) and two small drawers, each with their original decorative brass drop handles.
Above the dresser base is a lovely ornate cupboard, columns and surround/back. There are very nice carvings to the door and cornice. It also has a single shelf inside.

As well as a very useful ladies dresser it would also work very well in a bathroom (housing towels etc), or in the dining room or kitchen.

Recently stripped to the bare wood it is now ready for waxing or painting. In our opinion it would look beautiful when painted. We would be happy to provide you with a quote for painting.

The original lock and keys are in good working order.

It can be purchased in the bare wood for £760, or wax polished for £847.

We think it could have originally been used as a drinks cabinet.

Both doors are hung on French style external hinges, allowing them to open fully. The original lock, key and escutcheons are all in good order. There is a decorative cornice top and is stood on attractive bracket feet.
